On behalf of the University of Alrefaq, I am pleased to welcome you and invite you to browse the components of the site, which highlights the most important achievements of the university, its educational programs, offices and presents its strategy, plans and its resources and human capabilities.
The Office of the Undersecretary for Scientific Affairs was established by Resolution No. (5) of 2018 and undertakes the tasks assigned to it in the job description, the following are the most important:
• Supervising scientific affairs and research.
• Direct supervision of the educational departments, follow-up of their performance, and approve the minutes of their meetings.
• Follow up the university's academic performance and results.
• Proposing the conclusion of cooperation agreements with universities and research centers
• Contribute to the establishment and development of regulations and mechanisms regulating the work of the university.
• Presiding over the scientific council of the university. • General supervision of the scientific journal of the university, "Alrefaq Journal of Knowledge".
• Supervising the e-learning unit.
Taking in consideration the vision, mission and objectives of the university, The office follows up on the daily basis, the progress of the educational process, in accordance with the rules and regulations adopted by the university, in order to prepare and graduate qualified and distinguished cadres who possess the knowledge and skills that qualify them to engage in the labor market.
Considering that universities are expert houses that contribute to the development of society and find solutions to the obstacles it faces, the office works to open up to society by sending graduation projects with practical results to public and private state institutions to benefit from them.
The office seeks to activate the scientific research program at the university by encouraging faculty members to participate in conferences and scientific seminars, in addition the office has adopted Excellence Award for Scientific Research to motivate students and faculty members.
